Full-Time Position
(General Dental Practice)

KDC will be opening a new office in April 2015.  An ideal candidate is a recent graduate (within the past 2-3 years), licensed in Hawaii with a DDS or DMD from an accredited school. This individual is a team player with a positive attitude, who is excited to join a skilled and supportive dental team, and is committed to making a difference in their patients' lives by providing dental care with the highest integrity.  This individual is sincere about making Kauai their home, and providing long-lasting treatment and friendly service to the families of Kauai.

As a dentist at KDC, you'll work with a team of dental professionals and a support staff on a wide range of dental procedures.  You'll have opportunities to expand and hone your clinical skills in a practice that values the highest quality of work.  You'll have clinical autonomy, while receiving support from Dr. Ing, who will serve as a mentor/advisor on an as-needed basis to confer and collaborate with you as you grow your career.  All of the aspects of having to run the business are taken care of by KDC.

You will have your own operatory, dental assistant, use of Dentrix, Dexis, panoramic x-ray, Planmeca (CAD/CAM), and laser technology; and you will work out of our new office that is spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Under the guidance of Dr. Ing, you will receive:

  • An orientation on Kauai Dental Care's mission, values, and approach to providing excellence in oral health care;
  • Clinical experience to refine your capacity for complex procedures, treatment planning, and case presentations;
  • Methods to help you to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become a productive member of the team;
  • Training on KDC's practice management tools and resources.

By the end of the first month, you'll be ready to start working independently taking care of your own patients.  You'll continue to have the support of the other dental professionals, as well as access to continuing education classes to improve your skills.

If you are a dentist who is ready to work hard while receiving fair compensation for your efforts, then KDC is the place to grow your career.
